Old hands, young shop
A Counter Built by Master Artisans
Manha opened in 2026, but nothing about our counter is inexperienced. We assembled karigars who lived inside Bengali confectionery long before we gave them a shared kitchen — by sunrise, morning milk has become chhena for roshgolla, khoya for laddu, and cultured pots of doi resting in earthenware.
“Preserve the art, preserve the taste — with the best hygiene a modern kitchen can offer.”

Choosing Between Our Products
Adventurous eaters should head straight for the rarities — habsi shondesh, hafsi and kheer lancha are products few shops in Bangladesh still make, and they reward the curious with flavors closer to the nineteenth century than the supermarket shelf.
Freshness, Packing and Delivery
Each product page lists exact shelf life and storage guidance, because honesty about freshness is part of quality. Orders are packed to protect what is fragile: clay pots are padded and tied, coated sweets separated by
food-grade paper, kheer-based products cold-packed for their journey. Delivery options for your address appear at checkout, and perishable products are only dispatched on routes fast enough to guarantee they arrive at their best.
Questions before ordering?
Call or WhatsApp
The people who make these products answer the phone, and nobody can recommend between a monda shondesh and a dodhiya shondesh better than the karigar who pressed both that morning.
Products by Occasion
For Eid mornings:
Amirti, balushai and mihi dana laddu — sweets that hold beautifully on a breakfast table and please every generation at once.
For weddings:
Chamcham special, special kalojam and zafraan laddo, packed as dala arrangements the night before.
For puja:
Sada chamcham, sahi kacha vhog and kheer vog, the traditional trio of offering-grade products made without compromise.
For everyday tea:
Kalojam, roshgolla and balushai are the workhorses of the counter — affordable, satisfying, and gone before the kettle cools.
For gifts that travel far:
Dry products like soan papdi, baadami laddo and monda shondesh keep a week or more in airtight boxes and cross the country by courier without losing character.
A Word on Prices and Weights
All products are priced per kilogram or per pot, exactly as at our Bogura counters — ordering online costs no more than walking in. Weights are weighed after garnish, not before, and every box we pack errs on the generous side; that is counter culture in Bogura, and it travels with the box.
Prices reflect real ingredients: Kashmiri saffron in the zafraan products costs what real saffron costs, and full-cream milk reduced for hours yields less than milk stretched with powder. When a product here costs more than a mass-market equivalent, the difference is in the pot — taste once and the arithmetic explains itself.
Nothing to Hide
One more promise before you browse: every product photograph on this site shows our actual sweets, taken at our counter — no stock imagery, no borrowed gloss.
What you see in the grid above is what the karigars made, and what your box will hold. Products this fresh have nothing to hide, so we show them exactly as they are.
Honest answers
Questions About Our Story
The three things people ask when they hear a Bogura sweet shop opened in 2026.
If Manha opened in 2026, where does the experience come from?
From the people. Every karigar we hired brings 30+ years at the cauldron — men who apprenticed as boys in the sweet houses of this district. The shop is new; the hands are anything but. That combination was the founding idea: give proven masters a kitchen worthy of their craft.
What does “preserve the art, preserve the taste” mean in practice?
It means we keep making sweets that demand time — habsi shondesh stirred for hours, doi set overnight in clay — instead of quietly dropping them for faster sellers, and we make them with the best hygiene a modern kitchen offers: stainless surfaces, filtered water, cold-chain handling. Old recipes, new standards.
Why choose a sweet shop in Bogura over a Dhaka chain?
Because the milk decides. Bogura’s dairy belt earned this district its GI recognition, and a sweet shop in Bogura works minutes from the farms — milk to counter in hours, not days. Distance changes dairy; taste both and you will not need convincing.
